Food & Beverage Show 2016

The first Food and Beverage festival in Maldives started on Thursday at National Art Gallery with 20 stalls.The F&B festival was inaugurated by Minister of Home Affairs, Umar Naseer.Total 20 parties involved in the food and beverage business participated in the event – organized by High Rise.

 

“The main purpose of holding the event, in reality, is because we use multiple F&B products every day in our daily life. This show will therefor provide the opportunity for all businesses involved in F&B products can meet under one roof, and for people to sample the products more conveniently,” said the General Manager of High Rise, Habeeba Hussein (Haby)

 

Nestle Professionals and Lily International being the main sponsors of F&B Show2016 greatly contributed in the success of this esteemed event. We highly supported the course of the show and look forward in participating once again in the future.

Water Donation To Male' City #MaleWaterCrisis

On behalf of the management and staff of Lily international Pvt, Ltd (Lily F&B Suppliers),Mr. Amir Mansoor has donated 17,700 liters of bottle drinking water imported from Sri Lanka on 6th December 2014 at Maldives sea port premises

It was originally supposed to be on today (7th December 2014) morning. However, considering the raising need of drinking water, the distribution was done on 6th December night 10.00 pm itself. 

To expedite the process, Mr. Amir Mansoor, was personally involved in the customs paper works process and approvals with the support of economic minister, Hon. Mohamed Saeed.

Inauguration of STOP & SHOP

In order to accomodate our rapid growth and business expansion, it is our pleasure to inform you that Lily F&B Suppliers Shop 3 will be relocated to a new Location

In our New Location, We have officially opened our Whole Sale and Retail Shop under the Brand Name “STOP & SHOP”. We will be operating the shop with not only Lily International product line, but also with general product range requirement of our customers. Examples: Chocolates, Sweets, Cosmetics etc…

This is but a minor stepping stone to a vast plan which is already undergoing planning and execution.

Food & Hospitality Asia 2014 (Pre Event Training)

Over 60 representing over 25 resorts attended the FHAM Pre-Event training sessions. Conducted by chefs guild of Lanka with the support of the faculty of hospitality and tourism studies. The main objective of the training was to teach the participants on how to take part in the culinary competition. This event which was open to all FHAM participants on a free of charge basis was much appreciated by all the participants. They said that they learned very much and were updated on the latest methods and trends. The training session with took place at the FHTS premises on the 21st June 2014 covered the following topics.

1-    Introduction to the culinary competitions and judging criteria

2-    Modern presentation of gold winning dishes, correct preparation and using techniques of  ASPIC for competitions demonstration and hands on training

3-    Modern techniques and preparation and presentation of the petite force and dress the cake demonstration.

4-    Modern day garde-manger (cold-kitchen) presentation/portion size/combinations and accompaniments and judging criteria/food harmony and balance.

5-    Modern day HOT Cuisine and key factor considerations in participation at LIVE cooking competitions and judging criteria/ food harmony and balance.

The training was conducted by Culinary Olympics gold award winner, Chef. Dimuth Kummarasinghe and team. It was conducted under the guidance of Chef. Gerarg Mendis – Chairman, Chefs Guild of Lanka.
